7 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so bad about keeping up with Blogging" so to any one that keeps up with us....

We are in the final days and the count down has begun.

Only 7 days until the arrival of our sweet little Jackson! Harris is so excited to be a big brother, He talks to baby Jackosn every night asking him to "hurry up and come play with me." We have been trying our best to explain the proses of Jackson's arrival, since I'm having a c-sections it has been much easier telling him the dr. is going to make a boob ( that's what he calls soars/ cuts) on mommy's tummy and pull Jackson out. After mommy get's home from the Hospital it will be very hard for me to hold you, so you have to be a big boy for a few weeks and help mommy as much as you can. He then says "oh I can make the lunch for cereal... and get Jackson's diapers..." so on some level he get's it, but well see how he reacts once it all happens.

Jayden comes to visit

For the past 4 summers (with exception to the summer Harris turned 1) Jayden (my nephew) has spent the summers with us! Lucky for him we move every summer so he has become quit the traveler, Austin, Kingwood, and now Virginia! We have had many adventures so far and will continue to explore into the heat of this miserable summer... can you tell I love being pregnant in the HOT summer Heat! We have made a trip to the White House, George Washington's estate, Gone Golfing, spent the day in the park at the lake ridding the train, playing at the play ground, at the mall playground (it nice and cool) gone to see a few movies and play hard every day with all our new friends! In the weeks to come we have a trip planned to Willimsberg, Baltimore, and to DC to check out all the fun museums. we will be busy all summer and this momma will sure be tired! So happy you here Jay we love you!

My baby is growing up!

I can not believe how time flies when your having FUN!!! Harris had his 4th Birthday this past Saturday, we had a small celebration with Colby's family and our neighbors from Bosnia. With a cookout, cake and present time it was short and sweet (easy for mommy who is know 7.5 months prego with Jackson) but just perfect for our little guy! Harris has been telling everyone for months he wanted a PIZZA cake and a bike for his birthday... well this momma is no good a cake decorating(as you all know from my pictures) so I have been stressing for months wondering how I was going to pull this on off. I contacted several bakers in the are and they were all booked for the weekend of his party, so I Google cake ideas found what I thought to be a simple one bought the items I needed to construct my master piece and NOTHING that's what I go Nothing, the cake turned out horrible it looked like I gave Harris the icing and said have at it~ maybe that's what I tell people in the future "I just let Harris go to town on this cake!" Oh well he had Fun and thats all that matters.... right? As for the bike, Mimi and I got up super early Saturday am and went all around town to find the perfect bike and after the 3rd store we were successful with our mission! We let Harris open all is other gifts then brought in the bike... again NOTHING! He looks at it and said "Oh my new bike" then turned around and started playing with his new game Hungry Hippo. Kids are so funny! Mimi and I were so excited and he could have cared less... in the past few days he has started to show interested in his New Toy.

Oh baby baby~ A few things going on....

Well not much to report... it has been rainy and cool here, I'm not complaining just enjoying it, I know the heat will come soon enough and Ill be fat and swollen with misery to follow.

We have Jackson Room all figured out such a relief: The bed it on its way, I have picked out all the bedding bought the curtest picture for the wall yesterday, now all we have to do is wait! oh and paint...

Harris and i were in bed 2 night s ago reading out nightly stories and he lifted my shirt and laid his head on my tummy and said "Mommy we have to read to Jackson too," Melted my heart! So nice to know he understands and is so excited to be a BIG BROTHER!

Colby and I went to our first Bile study Sunday, we sat in on a married couples in their 20's class and loved it. The group was so so welcoming~ was such a relief just what we were hoping for. They invited us on a couples retreat this weekend but we had already made plans to take our first beach trip of the season. Looking forward to see what happens with the group. Pray for great relationships and fellowship and some wonderful playmates for our Harris!

Boy oh boy oh boy!!!!

its official! The Hunts will be welcoming a baby boy into the mix of things! Jackson Clay Hunt we cant wait to see your beautiful face this August! Harris will be happy to have a baby brother to box, golf, play football, basketball, baseball, teach to read and sing and just be silly boys~ cant wait to see them grow.... the Dr. says Jackson is Health as can be and super active, soon I will be a human punching bag he says:)

Whats been going on~

Over the past month Harris and I traveled to Amarillo to visit all the family... we were gone for almost 3.5 weeks (way to long to be away from Daddy) we had a wonderful visit! While we were in town Jayden had spring break so it was nice to spend an entire week hanging out and playing with him and Harris~ we mad the most of Amarillo and hit up all the fun spots Jump N Jive (the bounce house) Mr. Gattis and Chucky Cheese the play ground at the mall, several parks, snow cone stand and much more. It snowed 2 times while we were in town what are the odds , we leave snowy Virginia to head right back into it... it was fun for the kids they had a great time playing it it! Jayden and Harris really enjoyed each other this time they played really well together, it was nice to see them get along so well!

After Amarillo our wonderful friends the Murry's made arrangements for us to stay a few extra days in Kingwood~ how nice it was to see all the familiar faces, how we miss our friend sooooo sooo much! Harris and his buddy Sophia had a great time playing (I think Harris almost forgot what friends were) While we were in town our great friend Shaunna had a pre-Easter party/ dinner it was so great to get a night with the old gang, getting to catch up and visit see all the kiddos~ we had a big egg hunt and all the kids ran around looking for eggs and goodies such great times!

Baby News!~ We find out THURSDAY what the sex of baby number 2.... any guesses what it will be.... I'm so excited I can hardly wait! Hurry Thursday hurry hurry hurry!


Also Colby has made it all the way through the hiring process with homeland security we are just waiting for an email to inform him of his official start date for his training!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOOO after all this time it is here!

Moving again!

well kinda~ we are moving out of my in laws and into our Condo, Tuesday is the big day and I couldn't be happier. Not saying I have not enjoyed the time at their house and all the help with Harris, laundry, cooking and cleaning while I have been so under the weather with this pregnancy because I have! They have been so kind with open arms and hearts. but boy do I miss my big bed, Harris in his own room with a bed time and well just having me time when ever I want it. I feel so guilty when I'm too sick to get up and clean my bathroom and now I can just let it be until I'm doing better. So the paint colors have been picked out and the walls will be painted this weekend new Kitchen is in, as well as new doors and all the bathroom, so we are all ready to unload or trailer and start making Virgina our real" home.... its bitter sweat but maybe it will help me adjust a little easier.... here's to hoping.
